I'm an artist and educator currently based in Boston. I'm employed as the Studio Manager in Digital Fabrication at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, where I manage a space known as the Advanced Production Lab. Currently, I'm working on this project titled Inner Most with my longtime collaborator Jacob Rosati, and building a virtual world in Unreal Engine for Psalixera and Most Dismal Swamp. I'm also thinking a lot about ambient computing, desire paths, and emergent modes of listening. These thoughts are all part of a secret project titled Peak Ambient, which is slowly becoming less secret. For a while, I worked on demo radio with Cierra, Johan, Tameka, and Delande. We ran an online radio station and facilitated a variety of gatherings. Before that, I worked on Cake Factory where we also hosted many gatherings. I also worked on two lecture & performance series with Jacob - one called Trimtab and the other titled Late Capital Debt Cult. I like organizing events of all kinds. I previously made works that were mostly critical of technological development, but I'm not so sure these projects did very much outside of the systems they were trying to critique. I can share some more of that if you'd like to see. I published a book about the NSA a few years back. I can send you a copy if you'd like to read it. Marie Lopez and I cooperated on a creative framework known as DEFEATCORE for a while and also ran a vaporware company titled TotalImmersion. I've worked as a UX designer and creative consultant for a couple startups - one that still lives and the other which is not as active. I taught kindergartners for a year. We made a large wall drawing in the style of Sol LeWitt, but we made sure to break our own rules.
